Beaded Collar Necklace

Ello! :)
Time for a new tutorial! In this tutorial I'm going to show you how to make this Beaded Collar Necklace! :) At first, I wanted to sew it, but tulle made it kind of hard, so I decided to hot glue everything. What matters is that it looks great from the front, so don't worry about the glue! And in case you are against glue, you can always try to sew everything! :) Ok, on to tutorial!

What you will need:
- Hot Glue Gun
- Tulle
- Beads, buttons, gems, pearls
- Ribbon
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Collar Template (I drew it myself on a piece of paper)
1. Trace collar template on tulle fabric twice. I free handed the pattern on a piece of paper, you can also take another necklace as a reference.
2. Cut out collar pieces. If you can't really see where to cut, place the fabric over something bright, like a piece of paper or against light.

3. For the collar I used mostly pearl beads, all sorts of other beads, sequins, buttons, gems. Basically everything that looked nice and could be glued onto it.
4. Start by glueing on the largest pieces, like buttons and gems.
5. If you're doing this, for example, on the floor, don't let the glue cool on it. I did it at first and the glue soaked through tulle and stuck to the floor and was barely removable. I ripped the tulle and some glue is still on the floor. I mean, pick up the fabric after you glue each piece on, so the glue stays on the collar, not your work place.
6. Then start glueing on smaller beads. You can use tweezers if neccessary!
 7. You can also secure back with more glue where beads are, so they don't fall down. Don't put glue onto free space where there is no beads.
 8. For the front bow, fold the ribbon like I've shown in the pictures.

 9. Then sew ribbon in the middle with running stitch.
 10. Pull thread and wrap the remaining thread around the middle.
 11. Wrap small piece of ribbon around the middle.
 12. Secure with a bit of hot glue.
 13. At first, I wasn't sure how to connect both collar pieces, but then I figured out that I could just cut a small piece of ribbon and glue both collar pieces to it. You can trim it smaller if it's too wide!
 14. Then glue bow on top of that ribbon piece.
 15. For the closure I used two pieces of ribbon. Just fold & glue each ribbon end.
 16. Then glue folded ribbon ends to collar ends.
 Done! Wasn't that hard, huh?
